New Coperion K-Tron is looking for a Sales Customer Service Coordinator and the position will be located in Salina, KS and/or Houston, TX. Staffed by engineers, chemists, technicians and a variety of industry experts, these Divisions form a powerhouse of process solutions for their customers. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following: * Prepare phone or written quotations based on customer inquiries, customer soliciting, in-house requests, requests from travelling personnel, and/or technical specifications. Maintain a transparent log of open inquiries and quotations in the customer service directory. Enter completed quotations in the system with the appropriate comments on scope, probability and follow up on quotes in a timely manner and record results.

* Clarify (technically and commercially) phone and written orders from customers for entry into the companys operating system.

* Coordinate processing of orders with logistics with regard to special instructions for shipping, etc.

* Establish/maintain periodic telephone contact and dialogue with customers, for their requirements and needs.

* Travel to customers or our sub-suppliers to help clarify parts needs or provide technical assistance to the field service staff. Trip reports are completed after each visit detailing the visit discussions and action items.

* Update company documentation (manuals, parts lists) to reflect the current status of installed equipment.

* Maintain customer files with all parts related correspondence, e.g. quotations, trip reports, names of key contacts, history of purchases/sales, etc.

* Monitor complains of customers, take appropriate action, and inform department management as required.

* Approve return shipments from customer in accordance with company guidelines and coordinate with Inventory Control.

* Assist other department personnel with specific expertise as required.

* Perform other related duties as assigned by manager.

* Must have the ability to effectively communicate with others (both internally and externally).

* Interpersonal skills requiring courtesy, tact and cooperation necessary to communicate and work with coworkers, customers, vendors and visitors.

* Need to understand customer requirements and establish priorities.

* Meetings with customers both in-house and at their facility is required.

* Varied work hours above the normal work day is at times required depending upon the business.

* Excellent computer skills (using variety of software)

* A service mentality towards both internal and external customers is critical.

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* College degree or similar experience preferred.

* Minimum 3-year experience in material handling sales or operations. Experience in the plastic producing and compounding industry or related areas is a plus.

* Spanish language skills would be beneficial.
